Hi,
I'm Marie, I'm 33 years old. I'm from Belgium, my husband is French. We actually met in Belgium 6 years ago thanks to our blogs. We lived together in Brussels for about a year, and 10 days after getting married, we decided to move to Singapore for a year ! Sebastien is a geek and I'm a ex social worker/singer. I did fell in love (sort of) with blogs and then html and css and then photoshop. All together, it pushed me to get myself into a professional training in web developement.
In Singapore, I decided to look for a job in IT for the first time in my life(I was a social worker back in Belgium). It was quite a challenge for me, but I managed to get an interview with a Marketing and Communication agency, got the job and spend a great year working for them.
After a year, despite the delicious food, the warm and stable weather, the efficiency for everything, it was time to leave again. We weren't so sure about the next destination though. Between New Zealand and Autralia, we finally chose Australia. We stayd there for 3 years, welcomed our little daughter, Lola and spent a wonderful time. I found a job in a marketing and communication agency in St Leonards. We lived in couple of places (Bonnet Bayin the "Shire", Crows Nest, Lane Cove; yes apparently we like to move... a lot!)
Missing our families, friends, Europe, beers, chocolates and diamands, we decided to go back in Belgium, that was 2 years ago. We had our second child: Emile. Although it was really enjoyable to be surrounded by our folks, something was not quiet right over there. Sebastien (my hubby) received an interesting opportunity to move in Alcatel with his company. And therefore we moved to Auckland last year. We are very happy.
I spent a year composing, writing and producing songs and videos in order to create a Demo album. AS this project is now almost complete, I'm keen to get back to work. Something creative would probably be the most interesting and appropriate as passionate as I'm. Web, Media, Music, Design... I'm in.
